I personally don't like Asian culture company who will always ask this question, even is the global big firm like Dell, they asked, they truly did. Never mind, because I am in SG so OK, I can answer you this question, but after that when I ask whats the salary range of this position, the HR said is confidential. Hence I ask them why you ask my salary range then you don't want to let me know your salary range of this position, this is really unfair, after I raised this question to her, she said because we need to know your salary is higher our budget or not, but I think if you wanna know then you just ask me the expectation of the salary. Before we end of this conversation, HR said it will take almost one week to decide to proceed my application or not, but I received the rejection letter the second day....what a funny interview experience....by the way, the HR said I got the AR glasses experience in previous company and they want a talent we had this kind of experience before. lol
