The first-level screening discussion was scheduled after I submitted my application, including my expected CTC details. The call mainly ended up being around compensation alignment. During the discussion, I was informed that the maximum budget for the Software Manager role was around xx LPA, which was already in line with my current compensation. My concern is that the compensation range could have been validated before scheduling the interview, as it would have saved time for both sides. Since there was no meaningful compensation upside, we mutually decided not to proceed further.

Candidate phone screen. Introduced myself, learned about the role. Learned about the salary and working remotely. If I had to guess they are just trying to ensure you are who you say you are on the resume.

The process has been very positive so far. I applied because the role seemed like a strong fit for my background in customer service, organization, and problem-solving. After learning more about the position and Corpay, I've become even more interested because it combines client support, data accuracy, and collaboration. I've enjoyed speaking with the team and learning more about the role and the company.
