I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Housing & Development Board in Feb 2026
Interview
Interview process has 5 rounds, 1st is a automated technical assessment, 2nd is a take home assignment, 3rd is a live coding assessment, 4th is another technical interview round and 5th finally being the cultural round. The interview process is lengthy, considering that it is a contractual role of 2 years and HDB is not exactly a big tech company paying 8 to 10k salaries for Software Engineers. Interviewers were nice, and the interviews were pleasent. But consider reducing the number of rounds as each interviewee commits their time for this and you might not even get selected for a contractual role. They seemed to be heavily focused on the backend questions, even though its a full-stack role.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Housing & Development Board (Singapore)
Interview
5 rounds. Online coding test, bring home assessment, live coding interview, interview with tech leads, then interview with management.
Lengthy process. Test and assignments are primarily about React. Live coding questions would be based on your bring home assignment.
This is for 1+1 year contract role.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Housing & Development Board (Singapore) in Nov 2024
Interview
5 rounds of interview, that's more than most reputable tech companies. The first challenge itself is 240 minutes which is absurd for a tech interview. Questions were also either difficult or purposefully designed to be tedious.
