SMRT Training Executive interview questions

Interviewer was late for 10 minutes, I was kept in the holding room without any prior communication. Upon being admitted to the online room, there were two interviewers plus one HR representative. We did the usual introduction and when we got started, the interviewer asked a question related to graphic designing skills. I answered that I didn’t have any and her face turned sour, and declared she had no further questions. There was an awkward pause, the rest followed suit saying they had nothing to add after that one question which meant it was effectively the end of the interview in less than 5 minutes. HR should have done a pre screening of skills required (it was not listed on JD) if it was that important instead of completely wasting everyone’s time. As a minority, I’m aware when interviewers called me for the sake of diversity records and pluck a reason out of thin air why I wouldn’t be moved forward to the next round. This felt like one of it. Utterly disappointing and one of the poorest interview experience.
