Pros

Provides an opportunity to learn how to navigate complex and difficult workplace dynamics.

Cons

There is little to no emphasis on employee growth or development. Staff are often viewed as short-term labor to complete immediate objectives, with no visible intention to invest in their future with the company. Leadership frequently exhibits unprofessional behavior, and it’s not uncommon to witness upper management acting aggressively toward employees. It is a difficult and demoralizing environment to work in.

Pros

- Learn resilience by navigating difficult workplace dynamics. - Opportunity to collaborate with dedicated and talented peers despite the environment.

Cons

- Toxic culture that originates from the very top. Upper management often employ aggressive language and tone at employees. Absolute lack of professionalism and respect from leadership that is deeply concerning. - Operations are characterized by a severe lack of clear direction and strategic foresight, leading to constant reactive work, overwhelming tasks, and significant employee stress. - Company focus is solely on immediate output, not long-term employee investment or development. - Human Resources function appears primarily focused on safeguarding the company's interests and leadership decisions, rather than actively fostering a safe, professional, or supportive environment for employees. (If you're expecting HR to protect you here, you've misunderstood their role.)
