- Everyone's voice is heard and you are encouraged to challenge others' assumptions, even as a new joiner. - Really international and diverse, allowing to meet very bright individuals from all over the world. - Seniority is rewarded (as it should be) but you can grow very fast as a new joiner if you deliver. - The structure is very flat. Senior managers sit next to juniors and do their job like everybody else. - I see high growing potential for both the company and the employees. - The company helps in the transition to Dubai, providing accommodation and support. - Many activities are offered by the company, creating a friendly atmosphere. For example, we normally play football once a week in a court 10 minutes by walk from the office. - No one will micromanage you or tell you to come or leave at X time as long as you deliver your results. - The office is in JLT, which I find one of the best locations in Dubai. - The company invests in talent with the commercial development program, giving recent grads a great opportunity to dive into the fascinating world of commodities trading.
Cons
- The workload is high and the environment is competitive. This is just the nature of the job and what is expected. Still, I find my time to practice sports and go out with friends in the weekends. - You need to learn on the go about the industry. This can feel hard and frustrating at times, but it is a great intellectual and professional challenge that pays off with time and patience.
