- Do not let their seemingly high base salary fool you (well, many others match it now). Your annual bonus is around 0.5-1 month on average. No other bonuses. No overtime allowance. - They expect you to work overtime a lot. Do not respect personal time AT ALL, whether it's night time or weekend. - Bosses give one-way orders, feedback channels are largely ineffective. Some of them are very power thirsty, their employee wellness does not matter as long as they look good in the eye of higher management. And they micro-manage a lot. - Chinese culture. Expect to hear Chinese in your meetings, a lot. - Many managers from the company's early days are incompetent. Possess little to none management and technical knowledge. But they rank very high in the company. - Repetitive tasks. They are very conservative about updating new tech.
