A few low level staff who actually care, but nobody wants a career there

this place is just horrible. Receiving 4 days of generic training just regurgitating content off a PowerPoint and then being thrown into the office to fend for yourself. Consistently approaching management for support for your particular role and being palmed off, and then being let go due to poor performance when at no point did anyone outline what my role actually was. Senior Management team are mostly related and are totally anonymous and there is a real sense of entitlement and arrogance that exudes from the ones you do see, nobody could be bothered to know your name or introduce themselves. Your contract says 9-5, but they expect you to stay until 5:06. Don’t try and leave early, even on staff drinks Friday (which they sell as a great way to build staff morale but nobody bothers to interact with you if you’re not one of the cool kids) when leaving at 5:05 with audit coming Monday, that’s a big no no (and being told this from yet another nameless manager who’s drinking champagne and trying to tell you off) Says it all really. Double standards, fake leadership, zero accountability and people actively going around the office counting down the days until they leave.
