Pros

It's a big brand that people know about.

Cons

I am compelled to share distressing observations and personal experiences regarding the conduct of our company's senior management, involving multiple partners. A concerning pattern of inappropriate physical interactions has emerged, where senior leadership engages in unsolicited massaging, waist touching, and invasive hand touching while female colleagues use computer mice. These incidents occur publicly within the open office space, suggesting a normalisation of such unacceptable behaviours. Moreover, there is a blatant disregard for professional boundaries, exemplified by senior management referring to overseas KPMG colleagues with demeaning terms. This language not only disrespects but also diminishes the professional contributions of our colleagues, it was borderline racism. The situation is further exacerbated by a noticeable bias towards quite a few senior employees who are seemingly immune from performing meaningful work, creating a culture marred by inefficiency and a lack of accountability. These issues collectively signal a profound lapse in the company's ethical standards and professional conduct, requiring urgent and comprehensive intervention to restore integrity and respect within the workplace.

Pros

It might sound cliche but the Pro for me is the people that I work with. I'm lucky enough to be staffed in a team with great leadership. Managers are actually willing to coach junior members and be a real mentor. I very much appreciate their efforts.

Cons

Long hours and office politics. This is pretty basic and obvious for any public accounting firms. Every time a quarter end, year end, or a special filing is going out, you can expect 10-14 hour days. It might be fine in your early career but it gets really tiring after a few years.
