Promotion is very slow, sometimes none if you are not liked by upper management, even if your direct supervisor recommended you. Upper management don't appreciate the hardworking staff, only care about their own KPI. That's why many capable staff and managers left over the years, brain drain for the organization. New hires need to be warned of the COO. She has spies in the office, so if she finds out you criticized her, she will ruin your career, using any appropriate excuse. COI was raised regarding this last time but nothing was done, HR does nothing to help staff. SingHealth claims to promote psychological safety, but it's just for show if criticizing or disagreeing with a leader will ruin your own career. Heard the HOD who founded Office of SingHealth Academy resigned too. He's a good leader well-liked by his staff. Contributed so much to the organization, but they don't appreciate him.
