Pros

A company of scale and reputation to build your CV. Good IT support and hardware. Decent location at one north. Good office environment as building is relatively new. Some nice colleagues that are willing to teach regardless of level A successful company that has proven success in developing countries, but may have expanded too fast at the expense of below.

Cons

As many reviews mentioned prior, traditional company that pays 'big' bonus but low base, especially for the work you put in. Other commodity companies would be suitable with the same work put in. Places more emphasis on how long you've been at the company for. Very top down. Colleagues often mention culture is flat. However this would be a guise for a lacking structure, where too much 'flexibility' means no one cares to improve processes if it doesn't bother them. Resulting in lots of blame shifting. HR is very poor here too, they are just the managements cost cutters and eyes+ears. Don't expect travel insurance even if you're sent to risky places like eg. Africa/Myanmar. Even encouraged to travel to said places without visa but a tourist visa... All in the name of cost savings. Employee handbook also encourages cheap flight and accommodation bookings to 'converse company resources'. While they have sufficient money to buy insurance for storage tanks on ships?! Shows where companies priorties lie Don't be surprised to find the CEO's sister come knocking on your door when your claims seem questionable. Example, you decide you claim breakfast as your flight is at 10am, however it's too late to be considered breakfast if you didn't leave your house by 6am,in fact the solution posed to you would be to have breakfast at home. Here you will not find many fresh grads due to above mentioned. Even if there are, most leave after 3 years. During interview process, negotiating your salary to be more competitive is frowned upon and deemed to be unprofessional here. Never experienced in my career... Advice to prospective hires, come here to learn and leave. Only the rare few with family connections enjoy staying here for long to enjoy special treatment. Best of luck!
