Pros

One of the best in the industry. Company benefit are OK

Cons

Chaotic. Keep changing directions & strategies. Management has too much control and are short-sighted. Incompetent co-workers and low morale. Very small industry and people are either from IFF or Firmenich. Hard to find people with real talent.

Pros

2300 yearly claim 3.50 daily meal allowance

Cons

Biased work culture: Favouritism is evident. Certain departments receive better treatment and more recognition, while lab technicians are often sidelined or undervalued. Disrespect toward lab staff: Departments like Sales Support and Officers frequently assign additional tasks in an entitled and forceful manner. Mistakes, even minor ones, are often escalated directly to management without prior clarification. Toxic blame environment: Instead of fostering teamwork, there's a blame-heavy culture where errors are met with finger-pointing rather than constructive resolution. Contradictory health messaging: Although the company promotes a “healthy lifestyle,” the canteen food is typically oily, spicy, salty, and heavy in fried options—even during breakfast. Unrealistic benefit claims system: The $2300 claim benefit is split into medical and flexi components, which limits flexibility. If you don’t fall sick, you’re essentially forced to see a doctor just to avoid wasting the medical portion. Ineffective meal subsidy: The $3.50 daily allowance often isn’t enough, as canteen prices can be higher than nearby food courts, despite the lower quality.

Pros

- Good colleagues - Good benefits - global and regional exposure - great place to learn

Cons

- leadership is a old boys club with leadership rotation done within the circle. - lack of movement or growth unless you are connected to godfather or Godmother within the company. - lacks diversity in leadership with one nationality tends to be dominant - locals Singaporeans not treated well, or promoted. - losing good local talents who are disappointed with the culture of the Singapore office - Certain managers should mind their own business rather snooping around other employees affairs -lack of trust
