Pros

Nothing really. only that the salary that is paid on time

Cons

A lot. Everyone there is unhappy, frustrated and sad. The Team Leads have terrible communication and i believe it trickles down from the management above them. The cs staff are spoken to like they are slaves. the work load is enormous and the pay is not befitting unlike the Manila CS team which we see from our team calls have preferential treatment, even though they carry out shoddy work. There is no work-life balance. No staff welfare, everyone is working like a dog. If you speak up against sth, they will tag you as difficult and all of the team leads will make life tough for you. It is very sad to see honestly especially when more than 70% of the whole department. Even the direct leaders have terrible manner of approach and make it look like they are doing staff a favour. I felt so much peace in my life after i resigned. There is no growth. for that to happen, you need to learn to play office politics. If you love your mental health, please avoid te customer service department of LemFi.

Pros

Competitive salary, colleagues are nice

Cons

- Sudden Layoffs Without Notice During my year at LemFi, the company went through several rounds of layoffs. In the penultimate round, leadership claimed that those affected had been notified of performance issues in advance and failed to resolve them. This explanation seemed reasonable, and management explicitly assured us that unless we received performance warnings, our jobs were safe. I felt secure, especially since all my previous performance reviews had been overwhelmingly positive. However, that security vanished when I, along with many other well performing colleagues, was suddenly laid off without any prior notice. We were granted only the legal minimum compensation, and our system accesses was terminated immediately. - Chaotic Culture and Shifting Priorities. The day-to-day work environment is highly chaotic, with priorities shifting constantly. Employees often lack clarity regarding their specific scope of responsibilities, leading to each sub-team working on their very own way. Furthermore, upper management fails to define clear strategic goals, constantly wavering between rushing features out the door or sacrificing speed to focus on quality. - Lack of benefits. As I already mentioned salary level is above average, it's being compensated by lack of proper medical insurance and lack of common IT company benefits that software engineers commonly used to have.
