Pros

in the grand scheme of things, the pros don’t last very long,free dental, a nice pantry, good coffee, 17 days of leave plus 1 birthday leave, and 1 WFH day a week in my department. You walk into the pantry, feel happy for maybe 5 minutes, and that’s about it.

Cons

Been feeling terrible in this job. The thing about this company, at least in my department, is that the management team is so young it feels like the blind leading the blind. My 1-on-1s feel pointless with no real learnings. And when recruiters call, they oversell the role, the growth, and the bonus structure, which, by the way, I’ve cross checked with others, and everyone says the same thing.

Cons

Bad salary increment even if you’re promoted You don’t know how your manager rates your during appraisal - kinda 1 way Unstructured processes Departments are silo-ed, hard to execute new initiatives as employees might not be driven for the bigger business picture Not much job development, do not even have a proper internal transfer route which some companies would that promotes longevity
