Pros
The interviewer, a young guy, told us a lot of lies. He told us we could easily get more than $2k and we only need to work 2 days and rest 2 days. He did not tell us that we would be bonded once we go for the security course. This bond is 6 months and you could only resign after 6 months. I worked there for 7 months and not a single month I could reach $2K even I worked 60 hours per week. We worked on 12-hr shift --- 4 days (2 day shifts and 2 night shifts) followed by one and a half day off in a 6-day cycle. You need to give one month notice when you resigned. The basic pay is only $1K. For Malaysian, it is $750. Most of the exceeded amounts are your overtime pay.. They take back your end of year bonus when you resigned before end of June the following year. Year end bonus is about $200 for newbies and $500 for senior.
Cons
A lot of Malaysians in this job. Cannot pay reasonable salary, use lies to con people to join. Malaysians are sent for further courses because they would most likely stay in the jobs. For Singaporeans, you would not be sent for courses as they would probably resign after 6 months. A lot of lowly educated scumbags in this jobs. They are mainly Malaysians that like to bully Singaporeans as Malaysians overwhelmed by a large number in this low paid jobs. Lousy benefits and bonus. Take back your year-end bonus without any shame. You will be fined $300 if you failed intrusion test. If you passed, they give you $25 or $50. You will be given Changi Airport Group vouchers to purchase things at the airport every month but the higher management would confiscated them as they like using ludicrous excuses. Working 12 hours shift is very tiring. You feel like a robot. You got no life. Horrible working environment. Take leave must give 1 week notice.
